Atanas Ivanov - executive director of NSYS talks about the company and its path to becoming one of the leading companies in offering comprehensive solutions for the oil industry - from the construction of a gas station to the optimization of its processes.
Mr. Ivanov, how was the company NSYS Ltd. established?
Perhaps this expression will seem very trivial to you, but everything started literally from scratch. The company started in 2006 when we started with servicing, automation and supply of equipment for gas stations. In parallel, we started the development of software with fiscal memory for petrol stations, methane stations and gas stations, with the aim of facilitating the processes.
At first, we also developed commercial software, which served as the basis for fiscal memory software. We received a certificate and legalized the software in 2008, and a year later we installed the first gas station fiscal system of our own design.
This is how we reached our main goal as a company - we offer complete solutions for the oil industry - from the construction of a gas station to the optimization of its processes.
With which products have you established yourself as a company on the market?
I dare to say that our electronic system is the most modern and innovative fiscal system in Bulgaria. It has been installed at more than 1,200 commercial and domestic fuel stations.
We are representatives of a number of companies that have established themselves on the European and international markets. One of them is Fafnir, which is one of the leading manufacturers of level measuring systems and leak sensors. We also work with Cubogas – the largest producer of natural gas compressors. In 2012, we also started working with Elaflex, Europe's leading German manufacturer of guns and column hoses, as well as equipment for transporting fuels and fluids in the chemical and food industries. We are also partners of CGH Group - a global manufacturer of tanks and composite pipes for light fuels and propane-butane. There is almost no gas station in the country that does not use one of the products offered by NSYS.
Of course, before getting to the equipment it is important to do a good design of the technological part.
What are the main steps in designing a gas station?
In the design and construction of a gas station or gas station, there are several main steps that take the form of separate projects. The first is related to the construction part, the second is electrical construction, the third is VIK and the fourth is technology - this is exactly where we get involved. It is very important that everything works well from the start, at the project level. Thus, according to the site, we build a complete concept - from the laying of the pipes, the installation of the columns, the level measuring systems, the supply of tanks, the automation panels for the columns, to the pumps and valves.
Do you work in other sectors besides the oil industry?
The oil industry and measurement has helped us measure more than just oil. We use this technology in a number of industries such as dairy, food processing, pharmaceutical, agriculture and many others.
For example, the level measuring system measures the tank level of various liquids, fuels and fluids in the chemical and food industries. For example, gasoline, diesel, milk, water, bitumen, and many others. Depending on the characteristics of the product, a different type of level measuring probe is used - magneto-strictive, radar or other. In dairies, for example, it is often necessary to measure the availability of milk in a given tank, and we have a ready-made solution. To account for all this, a level measurement system is needed.
